A Holiday in Cairns

Not long ago Andrea, our daughter Claire and I took a brief vacation
in Cairns in F.N.Q. We decided to go North to find the Sun.
Our holidays were very pleasant. We shopped, also we had dinner at the outdoor restaurants in Cairns. One evening we met an old friend of Andrea (in fact her bridesmaid).
The second day we visited the small city Kuranda which is located in the rainforest
by gondola. “they” describe the trip as "the most beautiful experience of rainforest in the world"
Another day we travelled by boat (a fast catamaran) to the island called "Green Island" which is about thirty kilometres from the coast. Here we swam, and watched tropical fish through a glass bottomed boat. After lunch we walked on the beaches of this island.
Although today we are very happy to be in the French class among our enthusiastic students, we prefer to be in a more temperate climate!
