(When reading you emphasize words/syllables in capitals, and to make it simpler I've removed all other capitals.
Also, the symbol # represents a pause, or single beat. There are 2 emphasised syllables OR a single emphasised syllable and a pause between each emphasised word/syllable, with the "rhythm" being
da DUM da da DUM da da DUM da da DUM#
da DUM da da DUM da da DUM da da DUM#)
there's REAL-ly no NEED now for ME to look BACK#
it's NOT that my WRI-tings make SUCH a huge STACK#
in WRIT-ing, i'm MAS-ter of NONE, just a JACK#
but, SPEAK-ing in ID-(i)om i've FOUND me a HACK.#
now I am not SAY-ing i NEED-n't try HARD#
it's NO guaran-TEE i'll be WRI-ting 5 STARRED#
when TA-king a-CCOUNT of each LET-ter and CARD#
note, TALK, text and E-mail, you'll SEE i'm no BARD.#
still, ONE point is GLA-ring, no NEED to con-FESS it
i DON'T write things PLAIN-ly, i KNEW that you'd GUESS it!
i CAN write in PROSE yet i'm MOST concerned LESS it
be BOR-ing, so FIG-ure that PO-(e)try might BLESS it!
i DON'T judge free VERSE with its AM-bling, free TONE
it is JUST
that i LUST
after WORDS that will RHYME
so i MUST
go for BUST
when i WRITE ev(e)ry TIME
if you've SUSSED
there is DUST
in my HEAD, that's no CRIME#
but SOME-times i FEEL i'm an I-dea-free ZONE.#
the THING that i LIKE (but the THING that's a WO-rry)
is RHY-ming's like MA-gic, i-DEAS all a-FLU-rry
i'm TRU-ly not TRY-ing your SYM-p(a)thy to CU-rry
but IS it not CHEA-ting, this MUSE-in-a-HU-rry?
last WORDS of a LINE are like PROMPTS on the BOARD
what comes NEXT
so no NEED to cre-ATE
there's no TEST
i'm not PRESSED
to make UP someone's FATE
or to REST
I can't SEE b'yond the GATE#
with-OUT this word-PLAY would my REA-ders get BORED?#
i LOVE playing ROUND with our DEAR English LANG-uage#
RHYMES are not AL-ways ex-ACT, yes, some LANG-uish
o-CCAS(iona)lly words FAIL as I SEEK the right THING which
i NEED for a RHYME, lest a GOOD line ex-TING-uish.
at PLAY like a CHILD on the OLD hurdy GUR-dies
needs MUST so o-CASS(iona)lly i MAKE up some WORD-ies
i WON'T be o-FFEN-ded if CLASSED with the NER-dies
but HOPE you will SMILE at these AS yet un-HEARD-ies.
now LAST-ly to TURN to the MAT-ter of ME-ter#
THIS is where MA-king up WORDS like a CHEA-ter#
MEANS the a-TTAIN-ment of - WELL - quite a FEAT-er
as NO-thing's worse THAN a line THAT doesn't quite make it to the end without being a proper meter MEET-ter.

It is a group of like minded people from vastly different backgrounds and life experiences who come together once a week for two hours to share their love of words and the art of fashioning those words into a creation all their own.
It is a safe haven for these people of diverse backgrounds to share themselves, encourage each other, collaborate and extend themselves, as a group, and as individuals. It is a nurturing environment where we each explore our own unique voices.
We all demonstrate patience, respect, kindness and understanding of each other, especially at times when life’s struggles interfere with our individual progress.
We continue to encourage each other to challenge ourselves and to put onto the page the stories within us; those stories that drive us forward, to continue to tackle life, and writing, each of us, in our individual worlds, with courage, and Tim Tams.
